Municipal duties are conducted by several town departments that are based at multiple locations in the town including, the municipal office at 50 Main Street, the public safety building at 89 Franklin Street, the Jewett school at 66 Bridge Street, the wastewater treatment facility at 205 US Route 1, the municipal garage at 362 Central Street, and the solid waste disposal facility at 16 Transfer Station Road.Information on town departments may be obtained by selecting topics from the drop-down menu under 'Town Departments" above, or from the same menu located at the lower left.

The town does not offer curbside trash pick-up. Instead, residents can dispose of their household trash at the town's solid waste disposal facility (also known as the transfer station) off outer Central Street.
