The Technology Department is responsible for all aspects of technology within the Town of Bucksport.  With growing use of technology, they work every other department to ensure access, maintenance and planning is up to date.  Internally, they handle the municipal fiber infrastructure, networks, surveillance cameras, office equipment, communications equipment, mobile data terminals and more.   In addition to the direct municipal obligations, the Technology Department also assists Bucksport YMCA, Bucksport Marina and The Senior Center.

The Technology Department operates our streaming services.  Digitally delivering Town Council and many committee meetings to our Public, Education & Government (P.E.G) cable channels and our online streams at Town Hall Streams, Website and, soon, Youtube.  Local cable channels 5, 7, 1302 & 1303 are where the P.E.G. channels are located.
